Last Updated: July 4, 2026

Welcome to the Outdoor Adventure Booking Platform (the β€œPlatform”). kairn.guide (the β€œPlatform” or β€œSite”) is owned and operated by Arakah LLC (β€œCompany”, β€œwe”, β€œus”, or β€œour”). By using our website, services, or participating in any listed adventures, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Scope of Service: Free & Admin-Verified Paid Adventures

1.1 Scope of Service: During this pilot phase, the Platform supports listing Free Adventures and select Paid/Guided Adventures that have successfully completed the mandatory Admin Manual Verification review. 1.2 Payments Gating: Any adventure listing containing Paid or Guided monetization elements will remain locked and hidden from discovery until a platform administrator manually verifies the route track safety, public land permits validity, or private property release documents. 1.3 Off-Platform Transactions Prohibited: Soliciting offline payments or cash transactions for adventures listed on this Platform outside of the designated platform channels is strictly prohibited. Violation will result in immediate account termination.

2. Regulatory Compliance & Permits

2.1 Guide Responsibility: If you create a listing as a Guide, you represent and warrant that your activity complies with all local, state, and federal laws. 2.2 Permits and Group Limits: Many public lands (including National Parks, National Forests, BLM lands, and local conservation areas) require permits or enforce strict group size limits, even for non-commercial/free group activities. You, as the guide, are solely responsible for:

  • Checking and complying with land manager regulations.
  • Obtaining any required recreational, group, or transit permits.
  • Restricting registration numbers to fit legal capacity rules. 2.3 No Vetting: The Platform does not vet guides, verify permits, check commercial insurance, or validate safety certifications during this MVP phase. Users acknowledge that guide profiles are self-declared.

3. Assumption of Risk & Liability Disclaimer

3.1 Inherent Risks: Outdoor activities (including hiking, climbing, skiing, camping, and water sports) carry inherent risks of property damage, personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. 3.2 User Responsibility: By registering for any adventure on the Platform, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily participating at your own risk. You are solely responsible for your own safety, gear, fitness level, and decision-making in the field. 3.3 Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform, its creators, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, injuries, or losses resulting from your participation in any listed adventure or interaction with other users. 3.4 No Guide Agency: Guides are independent community organizers and are not employees, agents, or joint-venturers of the Platform.

4. Code of Conduct

All users (guides and participants) must:

  • Leave No Trace: Respect the environment and pack out all trash.
  • Respect others: Treat fellow adventurers with dignity and respect.
  • Provide accurate profiles: Do not misrepresent your experience, certifications, or identity.
  • Cancel responsibly: If you cannot attend a scheduled adventure, cancel your registration/hosting early so others can plan accordingly.

5. Cookies

We use strictly necessary session cookies (authentication tokens) to keep you logged in. These do not track your activity on other sites and are required for the basic functionality of the platform.
